# MacBook Pro 14" M5 2025 *Published: 2026-01-04 | Updated: 2026-01-04 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/macbook-pro-14"-m5-2025* --- **Brand:** Apple **Price Range:** $1649 - $3351.99 across 28 retailers ## Pros - Exceptionally fast performance with the M5 chip enabling instant app launches, seamless multitasking, and smooth execution of creative software that noticeably outperforms comparable Windows machines - Battery life genuinely lasts a full workday even with heavy use, eliminating the need to hunt for chargers - 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display is stunning with bright, sharp visuals and vibrant colors that excel for creative work and viewing high-resolution content - Operates nearly silently with virtually inaudible fans even under heavy load, making it ideal for focused work - Laptop speakers are among the best available—loud and clear enough to use without headphones - Outstanding build quality with solid construction, tight tolerances, and zero flex or creaking throughout - macOS is significantly less intrusive than Windows 11 with fewer notifications and system interruptions - 24GB unified memory prevents lag during intensive multitasking and demanding professional tasks like video editing - Drawing tablets and pen input have lower latency and feel more responsive than on high-end Windows gaming desktops - Apple Intelligence features deliver tangible workflow automation and productivity benefits beyond marketing claims ## Cons - Memory capacity is limited for some power users who may need more than 24GB for extremely demanding workflows - Dragging apps around in macOS installation feels outdated and unnecessarily complicated compared to more modern approaches ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen
